A creamy, refreshing strawberry sorbet made effortlessly with the Ninja Creami. Perfect for hot days or as a light dessert, this recipe combines the natural sweetness of strawberries with a touch of cream for a luscious texture.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries (thawed slightly if needed)
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Strawberries:
If using frozen strawberries, thaw them slightly. Mash with a fork or blend in a food processor until smooth. For fresh strawberries, remove stems and puree until silky.
  2. Mix the Ingredients:
Pour the strawberry puree into a Ninja Creami pint container. Add sugar and heavy cream, stirring with a fork until fully combined. Ensure the mixture does not exceed the max fill line.
  3. Freeze:
Secure the lid on the pint and place it flat in the freezer for at least 24 hours or until completely solid.
  4. Process in Ninja Creami:
Remove the lid and place the frozen pint into the Ninja Creami outer bowl. Attach the black lid with blades and secure it to the machine. Select the “Sorbet” function to process for about 3 minutes.
  5. Adjust Texture (if needed):
If crumbly, add a splash of water or milk and press “Re-spin” to achieve a smooth consistency.
  6. Serve:
Scoop into bowls and enjoy immediately for the best texture!

Tips & Tricks:

  • Use ripe strawberries for maximum flavor.
  • If using fresh strawberries, ensure they’re pureed smoothly for an even texture.
  • Add a splash of water during blending if using frozen berries to help achieve a smoother puree.

Storage & Reheating:

Store leftovers in the pint container and refreeze flat. Reprocess using the “Re-spin” function before serving again to restore creaminess.
