A creamy, homemade strawberry ice cream bursting with fresh fruit flavor and made effortlessly with the Ninja Creami. Perfect for a refreshing summer treat or any time you’re craving something sweet and indulgent!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 fl oz (177 ml) whole milk
  • 4 fl oz (118 ml) heavy whipping cream (or half-and-half)
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract)
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 6 medium strawberries, hulled

Instructions

  1. Blend the Base: Combine milk, cream, vanilla bean paste, sugar, cream cheese, and strawberries in a small blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  2. Freeze the Mixture: Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container, ensuring it doesn’t exceed the max fill line. Freeze on a level surface without the lid for at least 24 hours at -7°F to -9°F (-21°C to -23°C).
  3. Process in Ninja Creami: Place the frozen pint into the Ninja Creami machine and process on the “Ice Cream” setting. If crumbly or dry, add 1 tablespoon of milk and re-spin until smooth.
  4. Serve and Enjoy: Scoop into bowls or cones and enjoy immediately! Add fresh strawberry slices or whipped cream for garnish if desired.

Notes

Serving Suggestions:

  • Pair with shortbread cookies or drizzle with chocolate syrup for an extra indulgence.

Tips & Tricks:

  • Use ripe strawberries for maximum flavor. Frozen strawberries can be substituted but should be thawed first.
  • Taste the base before freezing to ensure it’s sweet enough—freezing dulls sweetness slightly.

Storage & Reheating:

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a week. If too firm, let sit at room temperature for 5 minutes or re-spin in the Ninja Creami for a smoother texture.
