A creamy, protein-packed dessert that tastes like strawberry cheesecake in ice cream form! Made with simple ingredients like cottage cheese and a strawberry protein shake, this treat is perfect for a guilt-free indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale

Ice Cream Base:

  • 11.5 oz strawberry protein shake
  • ½ cup low-fat cottage cheese (no salt added)
  • ¼ tsp strawberry extract

Mix-Ins:

  • ½ cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • ½ graham cracker, broken into small pieces

Optional:

  • 12 tbsp unsweetened almond milk (if needed for re-spinning)

Instructions

Step 1: Blend the Base

In a blender, combine the strawberry protein shake, cottage cheese, and strawberry extract. Blend until completely smooth with no lumps.

Step 2: Freeze the Mixture

Pour the blended base into a Ninja Creami pint container. Freeze on a flat surface for at least 24 hours. For best results, freeze without the lid to avoid uneven surfaces.

Step 3: Process the Ice Cream

After freezing, place the pint in the outer bowl of your Ninja Creami machine. Process using the “Lite Ice Cream” function. If the texture appears crumbly or dry, add 1–2 tablespoons of almond milk and re-spin until creamy.

Step 4: Add Mix-Ins

Once creamy, create a well in the center of the ice cream and add chopped strawberries and graham cracker pieces. Use the “Mix-In” function to evenly distribute them. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Serving Suggestions:

  • Garnish with extra strawberries or crushed graham crackers for added flair.

Tips & Tricks:

  • Blend cottage cheese thoroughly to avoid grainy texture.
  • Avoid overloading mix-ins to maintain a smooth consistency.

Storage & Reheating:

  • Store leftovers in the pint container in the freezer for up to one week. Re-spin in the Ninja Creami before serving to restore creaminess.
