A refreshing and creamy summer treat made with fresh watermelon, lime juice, and sweetened condensed milk. This easy sherbet recipe is perfect for cooling off on a hot day and comes together effortlessly with the Ninja Creami machine!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1⅔ cups (253 g) fresh watermelon chunks, seeds removed
  • ⅓ cup (102 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Blend Ingredients: Combine watermelon chunks, sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, and salt in a blender. Blend until smooth and frothy, about 10–15 seconds. Avoid over-blending.
  2. Freeze Mixture: Pour the blended mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container, ensuring it doesn’t exceed the max fill line. Secure the lid and freeze on a flat surface for at least 24 hours.
  3. Process in Ninja Creami: Once frozen solid, place the pint in the outer bowl of the Ninja Creami machine. Lock it in place and select the “Sorbet” function. Process fully (2–3 minutes). If the texture is crumbly or powdery, use the “Re-spin” function for a smoother result.
  4. Serve: Scoop into bowls or cones and enjoy immediately! Garnish with lime zest or fresh mint if desired.

Notes

Serving Suggestions:

  • Serve in chilled bowls for a longer-lasting cold treat.
  • Add garnishes like fresh fruit slices or edible flowers for an elegant touch.

Tips & Tricks:

  • Use ripe, seedless watermelon for the best flavor and texture.
  • Freeze the pint container on a completely level surface to ensure even freezing.
  • If leftovers are too hard to scoop, let them sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before serving.

Storage & Reheating:

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container with plastic wrap pressed onto the surface to prevent ice crystals. Keep frozen for up to one week.
  • Avoid reheating; let frozen sherbet soften naturally at room temperature before serving again.
