Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon (½ ounce) cream cheese, softened
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ¾ cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Base: Soften the cream cheese by microwaving it for 10 seconds. Mix in the sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  2. Incorporate Liquids: Gradually add the whole milk and heavy cream to the cream cheese mixture, stirring well after each addition to ensure a smooth blend. Mix until the sugar dissolves completely.
  3. Freeze the Mixture: Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container, filling it to the marked line. Secure the lid and freeze on a flat surface for at least 24 hours.
  4. Process in Ninja Creami: After freezing, remove the lid and insert the pint into your Ninja Creami machine. Select the “Ice Cream” function to process for about two minutes.
  5. Adjust Texture if Needed: If the ice cream appears crumbly, use the “Re-spin” function or add one tablespoon of milk before re-spinning for a smoother texture.

Notes

Serving Suggestions:

  • Serve in bowls or cones with toppings like chocolate syrup, fresh fruit, or sprinkles.
  • Pairs beautifully with warm desserts like brownies or apple pie.

Tips & Tricks:

  • For dairy-free options, substitute oat milk for whole milk, coconut cream for heavy cream, and vegan cream cheese.
  • Use high-quality vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste for a richer flavor.

Storage & Reheating:

  • Store leftover ice cream in its original pint container with a secure lid for up to two weeks in the freezer.
  • To soften frozen ice cream, let it sit at room temperature for 5 minutes or use the “Re-spin” function in your Ninja Creami.
