A creamy, homemade strawberry ice cream made with fresh strawberries and a rich vanilla base. This easy recipe uses the Ninja Creami to create a perfectly smooth, fruity dessert that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1¼ cup whole milk
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ⅓ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup fresh strawberries, washed and sliced

Instructions

  1. Mix the Base: In a mixing bowl or measuring cup, whisk together whole milk, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Add Strawberries: Stir in sliced strawberries, ensuring they’re evenly distributed. Avoid exceeding the MAX FILL line in your Ninja Creami pint container.
  3. Freeze: Secure the lid on the pint container and freeze upright on a level surface for at least 24 hours.
  4. Process in Ninja Creami: Remove the pint from the freezer and place it in the outer bowl of your Ninja Creami machine. Lock it in place and select the “Ice Cream” setting. Process for about 2 minutes.
  5. Re-spin if Needed: If the ice cream appears crumbly, add a tablespoon of heavy cream and use the “Re-spin” function for a smoother texture.
  6. Serve: Scoop out your freshly churned strawberry ice cream and enjoy immediately or freeze for an additional hour for firmer scoops.
