Ingredients

Scale

Ice Cream Base:

  • 1 cup (236 ml) whole milk
  • ½ cup (121 g) half-and-half
  • ⅓ cup (67 g) granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract)

Mix-ins:

  • ¼ cup (59 g) M&Ms

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ice Cream Base: Combine milk, half-and-half, sugar, pudding mix, and vanilla bean paste in a blender. Blend until smooth and fully combined. Alternatively, whisk thoroughly to dissolve all ingredients.
  2. Freeze the Mixture: Pour the mixture into the Ninja Creami pint container. Freeze uncovered on a level surface for at least 24 hours at -7°F to -9°F. Cover with a lid after freezing solid.
  3. Process the Ice Cream: Place the frozen pint into the Ninja Creami outer bowl and process using the “Ice Cream” setting. If crumbly or dry, add 1–2 tablespoons of milk and re-spin until creamy.
  4. Add Mix-ins: Create a small well in the ice cream and add M&Ms. Use the “Mix-In” setting to evenly distribute them throughout. For smaller pieces, chop M&Ms before adding.
  5. Serve and Enjoy: Scoop into bowls or cones and enjoy immediately!

Notes

Serving Suggestions:

  • Serve in chilled bowls or crispy waffle cones for added texture.
  • Top with whipped cream or chocolate sauce for extra indulgence.

Tips & Tricks:

  • Ensure the ice cream base is completely frozen for at least 24 hours for best results.
  • Re-spin if the texture isn’t creamy after processing.
  • Freeze without a lid to avoid bumps on the surface.

Storage & Reheating:

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to one week.
  • To soften stored ice cream, let it sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes or re-spin in the Ninja Creami.
