Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups whole milk (room temperature)
  • 3 oz lime gelatin mix (e.g., Jell-O®)
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Optional: 1 tsp lime zest

Instructions

  1. Mix the Base: In a mixing bowl or large measuring cup, whisk together the milk and lime gelatin until fully dissolved. Stir in heavy cream and lime zest (if using) until combined.
  2. Freeze: Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container, ensuring it doesn’t exceed the max fill line. Secure the lid and freeze on a flat surface for at least 24 hours.
  3. Process in Ninja Creami: Remove the frozen pint from the freezer and take off the lid. Place it into the outer bowl of your Ninja Creami, secure the lid, and select the “Ice Cream” function.
  4. Check Texture & Adjust: If crumbly, return the pint to the machine and press “Re-spin.” For extra creaminess, add a tablespoon of milk and re-spin again until smooth.
