Indulge in this rich, creamy, and keto-friendly chocolate ice cream made effortlessly with the Ninja Creami. Perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth while staying low-carb, this recipe is a delightful treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
    • ¾ cup unsweetened almond milk
    • ¾ cup heavy cream
    • ¼ cup allulose or Swerve (keto-friendly sweetener)
    • 2 tablespoons Dutch cocoa powder

Optional:

    • 2 tablespoons keto-friendly dark chocolate chips
    • 1 teaspoon sugar-free vanilla extract

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Base

In a high-powered blender, combine almond milk, heavy cream, sweetener, and cocoa powder. Blend until smooth. If using vanilla extract, add it now. Avoid overmixing to prevent splitting the cream.

Step 2: Freeze the Mixture

Pour the blended mixture into the Ninja Creami pint container. Ensure it doesn’t exceed the MAX FILL line. Seal tightly and freeze upright for at least 24 hours.

Step 3: Process in the Ninja Creami

Remove the frozen pint from the freezer and let it sit on your counter for about 2 minutes to soften slightly. Place it in the Ninja Creami machine and select the “Lite Ice Cream” function.

Step 4: Adjust Texture (Optional)

If the ice cream appears crumbly after spinning, use the “Re-spin” function until it reaches a creamy consistency.

Step 5: Add Mix-ins (Optional)

For added texture, create a well in the center of your ice cream and add keto-friendly dark chocolate chips. Use the “Mix-in” function to evenly distribute them.

Notes

Serving Suggestions

  • Serve in chilled bowls or keto-friendly waffle cones. Garnish with shaved dark chocolate or fresh mint leaves for an elegant touch.

Tips & Tricks

  • Use high-quality Dutch cocoa powder for a richer flavor. Brands like Valrhona or Hershey’s Special Dark work well.
  • For creamier results, let the frozen base soften slightly before spinning in the Ninja Creami.

Storage & Reheating Instructions

  • Store leftover ice cream in its original pint container with a tight lid for up to one month in the freezer.
  • To enjoy again, let it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before re-spinning in the Ninja Creami to restore its creamy texture.
