This creamy, tangy frozen yogurt is a quick and easy treat made with just one main ingredient—your favorite yogurt! Using the Ninja Creami, you can create a smooth, customizable dessert that’s perfect for any occasion. Add mix-ins or enjoy it as-is for a refreshing and healthy indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 ounces of yogurt (I used Noosa vanilla yogurt)
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon milk (for re-spinning, if needed)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Base: Spoon yogurt into a Ninja Creami pint container. Press it down firmly with a spoon to eliminate air pockets and level the surface. Secure the lid tightly.
  2. Freeze: Place the container on a flat surface in your freezer and freeze for at least 24 hours.
  3. Process in Ninja Creami: Remove the container from the freezer, take off the lid, and place it into the Ninja Creami outer bowl. Lock the outer bowl into the machine and select the “Lite Ice Cream” setting. Let it process (about 2 minutes).
  4. Re-spin if Needed: If the mixture is crumbly after processing, add 1 tablespoon of milk and select the “Re-spin” function. Repeat as necessary until smooth and creamy.
  5. Optional Mix-ins: After spinning, create a small well in the center of the frozen yogurt and add mix-ins like chocolate chips or fruit. Use the “Mix-In” setting to incorporate them evenly.

Notes

Serving Suggestions:

  • Serve in bowls or cones with toppings like fresh fruit, granola, or a drizzle of honey.

Tips & Tricks:

  • Use full-fat yogurt for a creamier texture.
  • Re-spin twice if needed to achieve perfect consistency.
  • Don’t overfill the pint container; stay below the max fill line.

Storage & Reheating:

Store leftovers in the pint container with the lid secured. Refreeze and re-spin before serving to restore creaminess. Avoid microwaving frozen yogurt—let it sit at room temperature for 5 minutes before re-processing.
