  • 15 oz can of pitted dark sweet cherries in heavy syrup
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (or canned coconut cream for dairy-free)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Base: Pour the cherries and their syrup into a Ninja Creami pint container. Add the heavy cream, mixing gently to combine. Ensure the mixture doesn’t exceed the max fill line and press any floating cherries below the surface.
  2. Freeze: Secure the lid on the container and freeze on a flat surface for at least 24 hours.
  3. Process: Remove the pint from the freezer, take off the lid, and place it into the outer bowl of your Ninja Creami machine. Lock the outer bowl into place and press the “Lite Ice Cream” button.
  4. Check Consistency: If the sherbet is crumbly after processing, press “Re-spin.” Repeat as needed until smooth. If it remains crumbly, add 1 tablespoon of water or milk and re-spin again.
  5. Serve: Scoop into bowls or cones and enjoy immediately!
