Creamy, sweet, and bursting with blueberry flavor, this homemade Ninja Creami Blueberry Ice Cream is a delightful treat that’s easy to make and perfect for any occasion. With wholesome ingredients like cottage cheese and condensed milk, it’s a luscious dessert with a hint of tanginess and just the right amount of sweetness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup half-and-half or heavy cream
  • ½ cup cottage cheese
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon monk fruit sweetener (or honey, agave, or sugar)

Instructions

  1. Blend the Mixture: Combine blueberries, half-and-half, cottage cheese, vanilla extract, condensed milk, and monk fruit sweetener in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides to ensure everything is fully incorporated.
  2. Freeze: Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container, ensuring it doesn’t exceed the max fill line. Place the container on a flat surface in your freezer and freeze for at least 18–24 hours.
  3. Process in Ninja Creami: After freezing, place the pint in the Ninja Creami machine. Lock the lid and select the “Lite Ice Cream” setting. If the texture is crumbly after processing, press “Respin” until smooth. Add a tablespoon of cream or milk if needed to achieve desired creaminess.
  4. Serve: Scoop into bowls or cones and enjoy immediately! Add toppings like fresh blueberries, nuts, or a drizzle of honey for extra flavor.

Notes

Serving Suggestions:

  • Pair with shortbread cookies or serve alongside a slice of pie for a decadent dessert.
  • Garnish with mint leaves or crushed graham crackers for added texture.

Tips & Tricks:

  • Let frozen leftovers sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before serving to soften naturally.
  • Use ripe blueberries for maximum flavor; if using frozen berries, thaw slightly before blending.

Storage & Reheating:

  • Store leftover ice cream in its original pint container with an airtight lid.
  • Refreeze immediately after serving and consume within one week for best quality.
