Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (28g)
  • 3 ounces quality white chocolate (84g)
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla bean paste
  • ½ teaspoon pure almond extract
  • 14-ounce can of sweetened condensed milk (396g)
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream (480g)
  • ½ cup jimmies sprinkles (90g)

Instructions

  1. Melt the Chocolate: In a double boiler, melt the unsalted butter and white chocolate together. Stir until smooth and let cool for about 20 minutes.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a medium bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla bean paste, almond extract, and the cooled butter-chocolate mixture until well blended.
  3. Whip the Cream: Using a stand mixer or hand mixer, whip the heavy cream on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form, about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Fold Together: Gently fold half of the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture. Once combined, fold in the remaining whipped cream carefully to retain airiness.
  5. Add Sprinkles: Fold in the jimmies sprinkles, reserving a tablespoon for topping.
  6. Freeze: Spoon the mixture into a loaf pan lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle with reserved sprinkles, cover, and freeze for at least 4-6 hours until firm.

Notes

  • Serving Suggestions: Serve scoops in bowls or cones, topped with extra sprinkles or whipped cream for a festive touch.
  • Tips & Tricks: Ensure your mixing bowl is cold when whipping cream for better results. Be gentle when folding to keep the mixture light and airy.
  • Storage Instructions: Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to three months. For best texture, let sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping if it becomes too hard.
