A refreshing, healthy, and easy-to-make frozen treat for your furry friend! Made with just two wholesome ingredients, this creamy blueberry dog ice cream is perfect for hot days or as a special reward.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup plain cottage cheese (unsweetened)
  • ½ cup blueberries (fresh or thawed frozen)

Instructions

  1. Blend Ingredients: Combine the cottage cheese and blueberries in a blender or food processor. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy, with no visible chunks.
  2. Pour into Molds: Carefully pour the blended mixture into silicone molds, ice cube trays, or small paper cups. Fill each mold about ¾ full to allow for expansion during freezing.
  3. Freeze: Place the molds in the freezer and let them freeze for at least 4 hours or until completely solid.
  4. Serve: Pop out individual servings and serve directly to your pup! If using a container, scoop out portions with an ice cream scoop.

Notes

Serving Suggestions: Serve as-is or spread onto a lick mat for a fun, interactive treat.

Tips & Tricks:

  • Use fresh or thawed blueberries for easier blending.
  • If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of water to help it blend smoothly.

Storage Instructions: Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Let portions sit at room temperature for 2–3 minutes if too hard to eat straight from the freezer.
